Returns Policy

How do I return an item?
 

We want you to be happy with the goods and service you receive from Handmade By 'me'.

When you make a purchase from Handmade By 'me' you have 28 days, from receipt of cancellable goods, to notify us if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

For personalised items that are faulty, please inform us within 48 hours of receipt of goods of the damage. Please let us know if there is any damage to the parcel that caused the damage to the goods within 24 hours so we can make a claim from the courier.

To discuss a return, click 'my account' at the top of the page, sign into your account and then click the 'return items' link. Find the order you wish to return and click on the 'order enquiry' button next to the relevant order.

Exemptions and Exceptions

 

The following items are non-cancellable and non-refundable:

  • Personalised items that are specially made, or ordered, with your choice of name, guest names, fabric, message or other customised aspect that makes the item unique to your requirements and therefore cannot be resold. A replacement item will always be offered.

  • Perishable products.

  • Items that are specially made to order. A replacement item will always be offered.

  • Any creative pieces that are specially commissioned when you place an order. A replacement item will always be offered.

  • Gift vouchers. See our gift voucher terms and conditions.

 

Please double check whether an item is cancellable or non-cancellable before purchasing to avoid disappointment.

 

How to return or exchange a product

 

You must notify us in writing if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item, and we encourage you to outline your reasons for doing so as this helps Handmade By 'me' to improve their offering.

We recommend that you return the goods in appropriate packaging, use a ‘signed for’ delivery method and obtain proof of postage. Do not destroy or dispose of any product, even if it is faulty, before arrangements have been discussed with us.

We will process a refund of your order directly to your PayPal account, debit or credit payment card (as the case may be), which typically occurs no later than 30 days (subject to compliance with the returns policy Terms and Conditions and associated time frames).
